There are many times in our lives when we find we need to raise money and, if you have built up equity in your property, you may want to consider a secured loan.  A secured loan enables those with equity in their property (ie; where the value of your property exceeds the balance of your mortgage or other debts secured against it) to use this as security against the finance.

Secured loans will generally allow you to borrow more – Ocean Money can offer loan amounts of up to £100,000 – and give you the option to repay over a longer period than a personal loan – we offer loan terms of up to 25 years. And, as the loan is secured against the equity in your property, they are often available to people who may have difficulty raising finance elsewhere.  Borrowers who are self-employed, have recently changed jobs or have had previous credit problems may be considered for a secured loan.
