What is the interest rate on my loan/mortgage?
Please refer to your credit agreement or your mortgage offer at the time you took your loan or mortgage with us.  If you have any questions, please call us on 0800 916 9191 or to request a call back, please click on the contact us link.

Can I change the date of my direct debit?
Yes.  You can change your direct debit date to any date between the 1st and 28th of the month inclusive.  Please note a one off interest charge will be payable for each day between your current payment date and your new requested direct debit date.

Can I add a missed payment on to the end of the loan/mortgage term?
Depending on your personal circumstances this may be possible, we would need to review your account and discuss the options available to you.

Can I take a payment break or holiday?
We do not offer this facility.  However, if you are experiencing difficulties in making your payments, please contact our Account Management Team on 0800 916 9191 to discuss the options available to you.

Can I change my mortgage to interest only?
Yes although we do not offer this facility on a permanent basis.  However; if you are experiencing difficulties making your payments, you may be able to change your mortgage to interest only for a temporary period depending on your personal circumstances.  To discuss the options available to you contact us on 0800 916 9191. 

Are there any early repayment charges?
There may be depending on the terms of your loan or mortgage account.  Check your terms and conditions when you took out the loan or mortgage with us or alternatively call us to discuss this in more detail on 0800 916 9191.

Can I pay by debit or credit card?
All loans/mortgages should be paid by direct debit.  However, we do accept payments by debit card as a temporary measure while you resolve a short term financial or banking issue.  We cannot accept payments by credit card. 

Can someone else pay by debit card?
Yes, however the cardholder must be present at the time of making the payment, as their authorisation will need to be obtained.

How can I pay by debit card?

Can I make additional payments each month?
Yes, you can make additional payments each month however; depending on the terms of your account Early Repayment Charges may apply.  Please refer to your mortgage offer for further information or call us on 0800 916 9191 for details.

How do I borrow some additional money?
You can apply online through our website or by calling to speak with our specialist Underwriters on 0800 916 9191.

I am moving house; can I transfer the loan/mortgage to my new address?
No, your loan or mortgage cannot be transferred.  However; if you are looking to move house we can with your permission pass your details to Ocean Mortgages who are part of the Ocean Finance & Mortgages Limited Group.  Their experienced mortgage advisers can recommend a mortgage to suit your circumstances.  Any recommendation is made on a no obligation basis and they will assist you throughout the mortgage process.

Can I pay off the loan/mortgage early?
Yes.  You will need to request a settlement statement by calling us on 0800 916 9191 or click on the contact us link to e-mail your request.  Please note that we are unable to provide figures over the telephone.

How do I request a settlement statement?
Click on the contact us link and complete your details to request a settlement statement.  This will be sent to you within 2 working days.  Alternatively you can telephone us on 0800 916 9191.

How do I request a statement of account?
Click on the contact us link and complete your details to request the document.  This will be sent to you within 2 working days.  Alternatively call to make the request on 0800 916 9191.

A statement of account will automatically be sent to you on the anniversary of when you opened your new loan or mortgage with us.

How do I obtain a copy of the credit agreement?
A copy of the executed credit agreement would have been supplied at completion of your loan.  If you are unable to locate this, click on the contact us link and complete your details to request a copy of the document.  We may make a charge for a copy of the executed credit agreement and this will be sent to you within 2 working days.  Alternatively call to make the request on 0800 916 9191.

How do I obtain details of the Payment Protection Insurance on my loan/mortgage?
Firstly, check the information from when you took out your loan or mortgage to see if you took out the cover.  This should contain any contact and reference numbers that you will need.  If you took out cover, a policy document would have been sent to you shortly after completion.  If you need further information or help in obtaining this information, click on the contact us link and complete your details and we will call you back.  Alternatively, telephone us on 0800 916 9191.
